Last Saturday I ventured down to Utah county for a number of reasons,
The First was to see my new baby nephew looking as adorable as ever and adjusting nicely to life at home.
Second, to attend an amazing Culture Club get together with an Indian theme. We ate Curry and Naan and learned all about Indian and middle-eastern culture. Topping everything off with sweet fake henna hand tatoos and bindi's.
And Third, I went to dinner at cafe rio with some of my favorite girls in the whole world. We all used to work there together back in the day and we haven't seen each other in months. It was so fun to see everyone! I love and miss you girls!

It's a Boy!
Connor Steven Waite
Was born yesterday coming in at a perfect 6 lbs 8 oz with lots of dark brown hair and the cutest little face ever! Of course, in my rush to get down to the hospital after work I forgot my good camera, but luckily had my old one in my purse and managed to snap some pics. I am so happy for Lani and Kevin, they will be amazing parents!
Lani was a champ and delivered with a C-section after 13+ hours of contractions

Sadly my mom and I both have head colds, hence the scary masks.Proud new daddy Kevin

Nerding Out
I'm a little embarrassed to admit, but I've spent a fare share of my free time this past week playing an old computer game with my sister Lacey. When we were younger our dad bought a game called "Kings Quest VI: Heir Today Gone Tomorrow" and it was one of the rare few we ever acutally passed off. We still had the cd but unfortunately, modern computers can't play it because the technology is so old, I think it is called DOS. Luckily, Lacey found a website where you can download it. Here is a video of VI, we always loved making fun of the narration and the verbage, so ugly.
It was so fun to play it again and brought back so many childhood memories of playing with my sisters in the den and trying to figure out the clues. Now all you have to do is Google the game and you have multiple cheats and hints at your fingertips.
After we had passed off six we decided to go really old school and play the number four, "The Perils of Rosella." We haven't been all the way through yet, but just to give you an idea of how old it is, I was three when it first came out. It's the kind of game you have to type in commands, and the entire thing looks like it was created in Microsoft paint. Anyways, it has been a week full of fun and nostalgia. It was so crazy playing this one especially, it was one of those things that you remember, but you didn't remember that you remembered it. Does that make sense?
Anyway, this post is probably super boring to anyone but me and my sister, but I just thought it would be funny to share.
