Ahh the J Crew perfect shirt in chambray polka dot. Perfect is right, but it's $88.  Old Navy, however, has a lovely alternative for only $24.

I'm a sucker for tweed, wool, flannel, all those wonderful fabrics for the chill in the air and Target has some really cute, very fall stuff right now. And even though the J Crew skirt is ridiculously cute, it's a little out of the price range...

In love with the Michael Kors 'Fulton' harness boot, but in case you don't have $294 to spend on boots either, DSW has a lovely option for only $99

The essential part of the fall wardrobe, goes with anything and everything. J Crew's is admittedly pretty perfect, but you can find some lovely, more-affordable options almost anywhere

And the ombre trend continues into fall with tights, love the look, just not for $40...

You can't beat a nice blazer with elbow patches for fall. Or any other time of year really...

I'm sure we'll see lots of faux fur again this year, but in case you don't like the cost and bulk of a vest, a snood or cowl gets the same effect but for a lot less
