Lately

It's been disturbingly hot the last few days. Today the high was something like 104. Which is bad sure, but I've quickly learned that in a humid climate, you want to pay attention to the heat index, not temperature. The heat index is what it actually feels like with the humidity and today's topped out at a lovely 121 !!!!!!! I never thought I would be so grateful for the little things, like air conditioning and dreyer's strawberry fruit popsicles (Although out here Dreyer's is called "Edy's). I don't know how people survived pre-refrigeration. It literally feels like someone is blowing a hair dryer in your face. but steamier.
