Ben's Chili

What do you do when it's 36 degrees outside and super windy on the saturday before Halloween?

Warm up with some famous Ben's Chili half-smoke combo. We had heard of Ben's before we even moved out here thanks to various Travel Channel and Food Network mentions, but we hadn't had a chance to sample the famous dish until Saturday night. We met Ali and Brian and had a wonderful time as usual.

On actual Halloween night we walked over to our landlord's to pay our November rent. It was fun to see little trick-or-treaters out and about. And the Mason temple was pretty all lit up at night.

It's always funny to see people in costume, but somehow it's funnier when it's someone dressed as a bloody-zombie reading the wall street journal on the metro. Some of my favorite costumes from this Halloween: Mysterion (from South Park), Tobias Funke (complete with blue paint and never-nude cut-offs), and Quail Man (from Doug, that awesome cartoon from when we were little with Doug Funny, Patty Mayonnaise, and the bunch?). I may have even won most creative costume at work with my co-worker Meg as Occupy Wall St. protestors, complete with TOMS and a poster.

All-in-all it was another great Halloween.
